Joint European funding principles for research involving animals

The Danish National Research Foundation has joined the following general principles/protocols, which should be enforced by the grant holders – if relevant to the centers’ research activities:

This means that grant holders are obliged to focus on animal welfare if the research activities involve the use of laboratory animals.
