New publication from CEBI summarizes the relationship between inequality and economic behavior

How does economic inequality across humans play out in their behavior? This is the central question for the Center of Excellence Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) at the University of Copenhagen in its new publication, which summarizes the center’s research and what the researchers are doing at the center.

The Center of Excellence Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) at the University of Copenhagen has published more than 130 scientific articles since its beginning in 2017. Those articles have now been summarized in the center’s new publication, which looks into its most important research over the years.

The CEBI researches income inequality across people and how this inequality generates certain behavior. Some of the topics covered by the center’s research include how people underestimate inequality, why people have such different beliefs about economic trends, and how children cause inequality between women and men. The publication is available as a PDF and is edited by Simon Knokgaard Halskov and head of center, Professor Claus Thustrup Kreiner.
