Professor Claus Thustrup Kreiner receives the Richard Musgrave Visiting Professorship 2020

Professor and Head of Center Claus Thustrup Kreiner, from the Center of Excellence CEBI at the University of Copenhagen, has been awarded the prestigious Richard Musgrave Visiting Professorship 2020. The award was accompanied by a lecture by Professor Kreiner on December 15, 2020.

Head of Center Claus Thustrup Kreiner, from the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) at the University of Copenhagen, has been awarded the prestigious Richard Musgrave Visiting Professorship 2020. The award was accompanied by a Richard Musgrave Lecture, held by Professor Kreiner on December 15, 2020.

The Richard Musgrave Visiting Professorship is the result of a collaboration between CESifo, a global independent research network, and the International Institute of Public Finance. The Richard Musgrave Visiting Professorship was established in 2008 to honor one of the greatest scholars of public finance, Richard Musgrave. He began his studies at LMU Munich and was one of the founding members of CESifo.

Richard Musgrave Lecture

This will be the second time that Professor Kreiner has received the award. He also received it in January of this year. In the lecture related to the ward, Professor Kreiner will share some of his knowledge and expertise from his primary research fields: behavioral heterogeneity, inequality, and public policy.
