Anna Dreber Almenberg
I am honored and excited about becoming a DNRF board member. I believe that the work of the DNRF is very important, and I am eager to contribute to it as a board member by advancing the aim of the foundation: to fund outstanding basic research that will strengthen the development of Danish research in all research fields. I look forward to learning more about and discussing the research being done in Denmark.
I am a social scientist and professor of economics at the Stockholm School of Economics. I work with quantitative methods, including but not only experimental methods, on a variety of topics related to understanding decision making and preferences. I am also interested in studying and improving the credibility of scientific results and study replicability, reproducibility, predictability and generalizability of scientific results.
My work is often interdisciplinary, working with researchers in, for example, psychology, anthropology, medicine, neuroscience, and political science. I have substantial experience evaluating research applications from international, national, and private research foundations.
