Head of center Anja Boisen gets ERC Proof of Concept grant for her innovative research

The European Research Council just announced the results from the latest application round for the program Proof of Concepts (PoC), and among the 33 grant receivers is DTU professor Anja Boisen.

Anja Boisen is DG Head of center at Center for Intelligent Drug Delivery and Sensing Using Microcontainers and Nanomechanics (IDUN), and she received the grant for the project Rotating Opto-Magnetic Analysis Systems (ROMANS). The project aims at developing a prototype of portable, highly sensitive and low cost device for point-of-care detection of inflammatory diseases biomarkers and at identifying the best approach to commercialise the invention.

The ERC PoC grants are given to ERC grant receivers that want to investigate the market potential of a certain technology or an innovative product developed for the original ERC-project.
