Stine Falsig Pedersen

I currently work for the DNRF one day a week, on a project in which we aim to characterize and communicate what constitutes excellent basic research in Denmark, why it is important, and how it is best supported. Among other approaches, this involves a series of long interviews with past and current DNRF center leaders and analyses based on this material.

The rest of the week, I am a professor at the Department of Biology, University of Copenhagen, where my research group works on cellular acid-base regulation. Our long-term goal is to understand how acid-base transport proteins function and are related, from the molecular level to their roles in cancer development.
