I have a background in Scandinavian Literature and Languages and am a professor in Culture Studies at the University of Southern Denmark. I have been a member of the DNRF board since 2016, and I am dedicated to the aim of the foundation: to promote and support Danish basic research within and across scientific fields.
It is a privilege to be part of the foundation and to take part in its diverse tasks, from reading applications to visiting Centers of Excellence and the Niels Bohr Professorships, and meeting with the many highly skilled and engaged researchers at all levels within a wide range of subjects and discussing their work. And it is no less a pleasure to experience the highly professional standing of the foundation’s body and board.
