New Evaluation of the Danish National Research Foundation

“It is truly remarkable that the evaluation of the Danish National Research Foundation produces such a positive outcome. The foundation’s work is crucial for delivering excellent basic research that can be key to addressing societal challenges or improving our society in ways that are currently beyond our imagination,” states Minister of Higher Education and Science Christina Egelund in the ministry’s press release.

DG’s Chair of the Board, Dorthe Dahl Jensen, adds:
“We are extremely pleased that the evaluation demonstrates the foundation’s work promotes research with a high international impact and contributes to the development of research talent in Denmark. It is also important to us that the evaluation shows the research conducted at DG centers often provides broad societal benefits.”
