Center leader Eske Willerslev awarded Shanghai Archaeology Forum Research Award 2015

Founded in 2013, Shanghai Archaeology Forum (SAF) is a global initiative dedicated to promoting the investigation, protection and utilization of the world’s archaeological resources and heritage. It serves as an international platform to illuminate archaeological research and promote its significance and relevance to the world today.
Out of 93 nominations, a total of 21 projects were selected by the 2015 SAF Awards Program, 10 for Field Discovery Awards, and 11 for Research Award. Professor Eske Willerslev, leader of the DNRF Center for GeoGenetics received one of the Research Awards.
