Researchers from DTU have developed a new material for environmentally friendly production of hydrogen peroxide

A group of researchers from DTU Physics and DTU CEN have recently discovered a new catalyst for the production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The catalyst can potentially enable production of H2O2 in small plants from water and air. H2O2 produced in that way could be used, for instance to purify water for human consumption in disaster zones or third world countries.
