The Bernácer Prize 2011

Professor Lasse Heje Pedersen from Center for Frictional Finance (FRIC) has been awarded the Bernácer Prize 2011 for the best European economist under 40 years of age. The Selection Committee has awarded the Prize to Lasse Heje Pedersen for “his original research contributions on how the interaction between market liquidity risk and funding liquidity risk can create a liquidity spiral and systemic financial crises”.
