NSF Graduate Research Opportunities Worldwide (GROW) 2015

The cooperative agreement with the National Science Foundation (USA) provides an opportunity for graduate research fellows funded by the NSF to spend up to a year at a DNRF Center of Excellence. The deadline for applying was December 15, 2014 to NSF.

Danish-Indian Collaboration Program

The program will support Danish-Indian collaborations, which should generate added value for the partners and cutting-edge research of high international standing in Denmark and India. The program is part of the DNRF’s strategy of focusing on few funding mechanisms and strengthening the internationalization of Danish research.

Three supplementary grants were awarded to DNRF Centers of Excellence in 2013. At the moment, there are no pending initiatives regarding this funding instrument.

The 8th application round within the Centers of Excellence funding instrument was announced in October 2015. Deadline for submission of outline proposals was June 6, 2016.

Danish-Chinese research centers

The cooperation between the DNRF and the National Natural Science Foundation of China was established in 2005 and from 2007-2011 has given rise to 10 Danish-Chinese research centers within the fields of cancer research, nanotechnology, renewable energy and information and communication technology (ICT).

Currently, there are no plans for new application rounds within new fields.
