Air photos reveal the secrets of the indland ice

Despite the rapid melting of the Greenland indland ice, it is far from certain that we have reached the point where we can predict how quickly it will disappear. New Danish research by Professor Eske Willerslev from Center for GeoGenetics at University of Copenhagen in collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark, the National Survey and Cadastre and Aarhus University shows that this is not the first time in recent history that the indland ice has been on the decline and since stabilized again. The results are published in the recognized american publication Science.
