Five DNRF centers nominated for the best research result of the year

Videnskab.dk has nominated ten Danish research groups for the award of the best research result of the year, 2010 and the public has been able to vote in the last few weeks. Five of the nominees are associated with centers current or previously funded by the Danish  National Research Foundation and they are:

  • Minik Rosing from the Nordic Center for Earth Evolution
  • Lars Peter Nielsen, Nils Risgaard-Petersen, Henrik Fossing, Peter Bondo Christensen and Mikio Sayama from Center for Geomicrobiology
  • Bahador Barahmi and Andreas Roepstorff froma Center for Funktionally Integrative Neuroscience
  • Eske Willerslev and Morten Rasmussen from Center for Geogenetics
  • Ole Kæseler, Erika G. Spaich and Jonas Emborg from Center for Sensory-Motor Interaction

The winner is Ole Kæseler Andersen and colleagues from Center for Sensory-Motor Interaction. Lars Peter Nielsen and colleagues from Center for Geomicrobiology receive  honorary mention.
